And my wife is donning a blanket because she’s chilly inside.

Your superior cooling system and chemistry-based degree system are no match for this old AC unit the sellers left in this bedroom window!

Man that's nearly freezing!

64 is pretty frigid for indoor temps! My AC is set to 74 most of the time that I am awake. Bump it down to 73 and throw on the fan when sleeping because I prefer cool er temps to sleep in. Might set it to 72 if I want to be unable to wear shorts and a t shirt at home and need some socks or if I am heat soaked from being out in the heat all day.
Girlfriend needs a hoodie and pants below 75 though so it’s difficult to agree on a temperature sometimes.

I walked my dogs the other day when it was in the 40s (Fahrenheit) in shorts. Getting fat does have its advantages.

I find that indoor and outdoor temperatures are wildly different preferences . I also find that having leg hair allows for shorts in all sorts of weather as long as there isnt wind or wet stuff. I wouldnt complain that 40 was cold when I lived on the East Coast. But at ~60 indoors I would need gloves to be able to use my fingers with any amount of dexterity. Whereas now that I live in Socal, it is all out of whack. Below 60 is cold and above 70 is hot lol.

Humidity and air movement do a lot of that for me. Plus, when I’m outside I’m usually moving around. This past winter our power went out and I chopped wood for about three h ours straight. T shirt and pants and I was still sweating.

Well I think the math was something like F=(9/5)C+32, which means ahhhhh C=(5/9)(F-32).... Maybe.
